The Teltonika Networks RUT976 is a next-generation RedCap 5G router, designed to provide reliable, secure, and high-speed connectivity for industrial applications. Positioned between 4G LTE and full-capacity 5G, the RUT976 offers businesses a cost-effective solution for IoT deployments, ensuring top-tier performance even in challenging environments.
The RUT976 supports up to 100 wireless devices, enabling seamless operations for industrial IoT setups. With dual SIM slots and auto-failover capability, it ensures uninterrupted connectivity by automatically switching to a backup SIM in case of network failures. The router is backward compatible with 4G LTE Cat 4, offering flexibility in areas with limited 5G coverage.
Built for versatility, the RUT976 is equipped with multiple interfaces, including four Ethernet ports, RS232, RS485, and digital I/Os. It also supports advanced features like GNSS for location tracking, Modbus and BACnet for industrial automation, and secure VPN options such as WireGuard and OpenVPN.
The device is managed via Teltonika’s Remote Management System (RMS), allowing for efficient configuration, monitoring, and updates. Its RutOS, based on OpenWrt, ensures robust security with features like firewall protection, DDOS prevention, and flexible VLAN management.
