The Moxa NPort 5210A is a compact 2-port serial device server that connects RS-232 serial devices to a 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet network. It supports multiple operation modes including Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, Pair Connection, Reverse Telnet, and Ethernet Modem, making legacy serial devices instantly network-accessible.
Real COM drivers for Windows and Real TTY drivers for Linux allow existing serial-port software to communicate seamlessly over TCP/IP without code changes. A built-in watchdog timer provides automatic reboot recovery, and a buzzer and RTC support alert and scheduling functions. The device server supports SNMP MIB-II for network management.
