The Moxa NPort 5110A is a compact 1-port serial device server that connects RS-232 serial devices to a 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet network. It supports multiple operation modes including Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, Pair Connection, Reverse Telnet, and Ethernet Modem, making legacy serial devices instantly network-accessible.
Real COM drivers for Windows (including Server editions) and Real TTY drivers for Linux allow existing serial-port software to communicate seamlessly over TCP/IP without code changes. The device server supports SNMP MIB-II for network management, and can be configured via web browser, Telnet, Windows utility, or serial console.
