The Moxa MGate 5135-T is a 1-port industrial gateway converting Modbus RTU/ASCII/TCP to EtherNet/IP Adapter mode, with CSV offline configuration, 2 kV serial isolation, and wide-temperature operation from -40 to 75°C. 12–48 VDC.
The Moxa MGate 5135 is a 1-port industrial Ethernet gateway that converts Modbus RTU/ASCII/TCP to EtherNet/IP. Acting as a Modbus client, the MGate 5135 collects data from existing Modbus devices and exchanges it with an EtherNet/IP host. The rugged metal housing, DIN-rail mounting, and built-in serial isolation make it well suited for factory automation, power, oil and gas, water and wastewater, and other process automation industries.
Modbus RTU/ASCII Client mode supports up to 31 server connections with 128 commands per serial port (function codes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 15, 16, 23). Modbus TCP Client supports 32 server connections with 128 commands. Total Modbus input and output data is 2048 bytes. EtherNet/IP Adapter mode supports 4 scanner read/write connections with 496 bytes I/O per connection (1984 bytes total per direction).
Two 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports with 1.5 kV magnetic isolation enable Ethernet cascading and dual-subnet deployment. The RS-232/422/485 serial port supports 300 bps to 921.6 kbps via DB9 male connector with software-configurable RS-485 termination and ADDC. Configuration is via Web Console (HTTPS) or DSU. Security includes HTTPS (TLS 1.3), AES-128/256, SHA-256, and SNMPv3.
Powered by redundant dual 12 to 48 VDC inputs via spring-type Euroblock terminal, drawing up to 455 mA. The MGate 5135-T operates across the full wide-temperature range of -40 to 75°C, suitable for unconditioned cabinets, outdoor enclosures, and harsh industrial environments. Ambient humidity tolerance is 5 to 95% non-condensing. The compact metal IP30 housing is DIN-rail and wall mountable.
