The Moxa MGate 5102-PBM-PN-T is a 1-port PROFIBUS DP V1-to-PROFINET gateway with AutoScan, microSD backup, dual DC power, ATEX/IECEx certification, and wide-temperature operation from -40 to 75°C.
The Moxa MGate 5102-PBM-PN is a 1-port PROFIBUS-to-PROFINET gateway that provides seamless protocol conversion between PROFIBUS DP V1 master devices and a PROFINET IO controller. Housed in a rugged DIN-rail metal enclosure, it supports AutoScan for rapid PROFIBUS device detection, microSD-based configuration backup, and redundant dual DC power inputs — making it well suited to oil and gas, power, process automation, and factory automation applications.
The PROFIBUS port operates as a DP V1 master with up to 1024 bytes input and 1024 bytes output data size, connected via DB9 female at 9.6 kbps to 12 Mbps. The PROFINET side acts as an IO Device supporting 1 IO Controller connection for read/write, with 1024 bytes input and output. Data mapping between protocols is configured visually through the web-based MGate Manager interface.
Remote maintenance is available via web console and Telnet, both supporting HTTPS and SSH encryption. I/O data status changes and system event logs can be reviewed remotely. NTP client time synchronisation is built in. RADIUS authentication is supported for enterprise network integration.
