The Moxa IMC-101-M-ST is a high-performance industrial-grade media converter designed to ensure seamless communication between copper and fiber networks. It facilitates the conversion of 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet to 100BaseFX (multi-mode ST connector), offering robust connectivity for industrial automation, transportation, and critical infrastructure applications.
Built for harsh environments, the IMC-101-M-ST supports an operating temperature range of 0 to 60°C and meets hazardous location certifications (Class 1, Div. 2/Zone 2, IECEx), making it suitable for industrial and offshore applications. The device also features redundant power inputs (12 to 45 VDC), ensuring uninterrupted operation in mission-critical networks.
To improve network reliability, the IMC-101-M-ST includes Link Fault Pass-Through (LFPT), which detects and reports link failures, enabling rapid troubleshooting and fault recovery. Additionally, a relay output alarm provides alerts for power failures and port breakages, preventing unexpected downtime.
The IMC-101-M-ST is housed in a rugged metal enclosure with IP30 protection and supports DIN-rail mounting, making it ideal for space-constrained industrial cabinets. The device undergoes 100% burn-in testing to guarantee high durability and long-term operation.
