The Moxa EDS-G512E-8PoE-4GSFP Industrial 12-Port Gigabit Managed Ethernet Switch delivers high-performance networking with integrated Power-over-Ethernet (PoE+) for mission-critical applications. Equipped with 8 IEEE 802.3af/at-compliant PoE+ ports (36 W per port) and 4 Gigabit SFP slots, it provides both flexible uplink connectivity and power supply for devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones.
Designed for harsh environments, the switch features a rugged IP30-rated metal enclosure, redundant 48 VDC power inputs, and a wide operating temperature range of -10 to 60 °C (standard models) or -40 to 75 °C (T models). With a maximum PoE power budget of 240 W, it ensures reliable delivery of data and power across demanding networks.
The EDS-G512E-8PoE-4GSFP supports advanced redundancy technologies, including Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain (<50 ms recovery), RSTP, STP, and MSTP, ensuring continuous network availability. Security features such as RADIUS, TACACS+, IEEE 802.1X, MAC ACL, HTTPS, SSH, and SNMPv3 protect networks against unauthorized access. Industrial protocol support—including EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and Modbus TCP—ensures seamless integration with automation systems.
With management options via CLI, MXstudio, and SNMP, plus advanced PoE management functions such as scheduling and PD failure checks, operators gain full control and visibility over their network. The switch’s broad certifications, including IEC 61850-3, IEEE 1613, EN 50121-4, and NEMA TS2, confirm its suitability for regulated sectors.
