The Moxa EDS-518E-4GTXSFP-T Industrial 18-Port Managed Ethernet Switch with 4 Gigabit Combo Ports is designed to deliver high-performance networking in large-scale, mission-critical industrial systems. With 14 fast Ethernet ports and 4 Gigabit combo ports (RJ45/SFP), it offers flexible backbone connectivity for operators needing to integrate both copper and fiber in demanding environments.
This model is built to thrive in harsh conditions, supporting a wide operating temperature range of -40 to 75 °C and enclosed in a rugged IP30-rated metal housing. Dual 12–48 VDC power inputs ensure redundancy and high availability, even during unstable power conditions.
The switch supports advanced redundancy technologies, including Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain with recovery times under 20 ms, plus RSTP/STP/MSTP for resilient network topologies. Security features such as RADIUS, TACACS+, MAC ACL, IEEE 802.1X, HTTPS, SSH, and SNMPv3 provide robust protection against unauthorized access.
