Overview
The Moxa EDS-2016-ML-MM-ST-T is a 16-port compact unmanaged industrial Ethernet switch with 2 x multi-mode fibre ports (ST connector). Port configuration: 14 x 10/100BaseT(X) copper RJ45 port(s), 2 x 100BaseFX multi-mode fibre (ST connector), total 16 ports. The EDS-2016-ML Series is engineered for harsh industrial, maritime, and rail deployments, with redundant dual 12/24/48 VDC power inputs, relay output for fault alarming, and a full stack of hazardous-location, maritime, rail, and traffic-control certifications. The wide-temperature -40 to 75 deg C rating suits outdoor enclosures, unconditioned cabinets, rail wayside applications, and maritime deployments.
Key Features

Installation & Power Redundancy
The switch mounts to a standard 35 mm DIN rail. Power is supplied via a removable terminal block at 12, 24, or 48 VDC nominal (9.6 to 60 VDC operating range) with two redundant inputs – both can be connected simultaneously to live DC sources. Either input alone can carry the switch; loss of one does not interrupt service. Overload and reverse-polarity protection are built in. The relay output closes on power failure or (optionally, via DIP switch) on port-break conditions, providing fault signalling to upstream monitoring systems.
