Overview

The Moxa EDS-2010-ML-2GTXSFP is a 10-port compact unmanaged industrial Ethernet switch with 2 x Gigabit combo ports. Port configuration: 8 x 10/100BaseT(X) copper RJ45 port(s), 2 x Gigabit combo port(s) (RJ45 10/100/1000 or SFP fibre – selectable per port), total 10 ports. The EDS-2010-ML Series is engineered for harsh industrial, maritime, and rail deployments, with redundant dual 12/24/48 VDC power inputs, relay output for fault alarming, and a full stack of hazardous-location, maritime, rail, and traffic-control certifications. Standard operating temperature range of -10 to 60 deg C.

Installation & Power Redundancy

The switch mounts to a standard 35 mm DIN rail. Power is supplied via a removable terminal block at 12, 24, or 48 VDC nominal (9.6 to 60 VDC operating range) with two redundant inputs – both can be connected simultaneously to live DC sources. Either input alone can carry the switch; loss of one does not interrupt service. Overload and reverse-polarity protection are built in. The relay output closes on power failure or (optionally, via DIP switch) on port-break conditions, providing fault signalling to upstream monitoring systems.
