The Moxa EDS-2005-ELP is a 5-port entry-level unmanaged industrial Ethernet switch in the EDS-2005 family, positioned as the plastic-housing variant of the aluminium-housed EDS-2005-EL. Five 10/100BaseT(X) copper ports, plug-and-play unmanaged operation with DIP-switchable Quality of Service and Broadcast Storm Protection. Rated to PROFINET Conformance Class A. Operating temperature -10 to 60 deg C suits conditioned industrial cabinets.
Customers requiring the aluminium IP40 housing (more rugged for plant-floor mechanical abuse), or wide-temperature -40 to 75 deg C operation for outdoor enclosures, should specify the EDS-2005-EL (aluminium, standard temp) or EDS-2005-EL-T (aluminium, wide-temp). All three variants (ELP / EL / EL-T) share the same 5-port 10/100 connectivity, DIP-switchable QoS and BSP, PROFINET CC-A compliance, and store-and-forward switching characteristics.
